George Michael produced and arranged 'December Song', which was co-written with his long time collaborator David Austin. A beautiful ballad, it is the first Christmas record he has released since the iconic 1984 classic 'Last Christmas', which has now become synonymous with the holiday season and a favourite worldwide.

In 2006, George Michael returned to touring for the first time in seventeen years. During the next two years, the legendary superstar performed 80 shows in 12 European countries and 22 shows in the U.S. for a staggering 2 million fans including 350,000 people in London alone. The track, which will receive its first radio play on Monday, will be available from his website and other digital stores on Christmas Day.

It is Michael's first festive single since Wham's Last Christmas in 1984.

The song was originally promised to fans on the last night of the star's UK concerts in August.

At the time, he said it would be released in conjunction with a cover version of Feeling Good, made famous by Nina Simone.

However, there were no details of that track - recorded for US TV show Eli Stone, in which the singer has a recurring cameo role - in a statement announcing
the Christmas Day download.

The concert of August 24th was the 1st of the 2 UK concert that will set the end of the marvellous 25 live tour. The final night will take place on August 30th in Copenhaghen. George announces two special concerts at Earls

Court in August!

George Michael announced he is to play 2 special concerts (labelled "The Final Two") at Earls

Court on 24th and 25th August to mark the end of his 25 Live Tour that started in Barcelona in September 2006!

It

is his way to thank all his fans (British ones ahead) which have followed him in this 25 Live tour across Europe: 49

dates, followed by a 30 date stadium tour - including the unforgettable opening of the newly built Wembley

stadium.

The two concerts will be filmed and a DVD will be released; they will also be exclusive and will represent

a nod to Wham! farewell Wembley show in 1986, when the curtain dropped on the most popular and beloved duo of the

eighties.

These very special shows will feature some tracks not previously performed in Britain, besides George's

hits, and a terrific new stage set.

So, after his venture in North America where he is performing his wonderful

show this summer, George will be back in London to thrill his European audience.
Any fan shouldn't miss these two

gigs! partly because in a recent interview on BBC Channel, George said he is going to give up touring, even if he is

not retiring...

Nearly 18 months after it's worldwide release, "25", a career spanning retrospective from George Michael is getting a belated U.S. release April 1 via Epic. The two-CD collection contains all of Michael's biggest hits from the early Wham singles to his latest solo efforts. The package also contains six new tracks: "An Easier Affair", "This Is Not Real Love", "Heal The Pain" (duet with Paul McCartney), "Understand", a Nina Simone cover "Feeling Good", and "As" (featuring Mary J.
